This is my second attempt. The first one was going along really well, but I wasn't paying enough attention to my cursor. Before I published this, I accidentally opened up another page in the browser. I'm having a lot of fun learning to use this. Even if I have to do this three different times, it will probably be faster than if I had typed it by hand .

The good news is that I can actually dictate this directly into a blog. Technology is a wonderful thing. I can still see the need to go back and edit by hand, but in the long run I think this will still be much faster.

For those of you not familiar with voice recognition software, it's programming that allow you to dictate what you would normally type. Up until recently, this software has been expensive. This particular program was previously priced at $100. Not only was it on sale for $50, they were offering a $20 rebate. Even including the $10 I paid for shipping, in the course of a year I figure this will cost me about a nickel a minute to use.

I do intend to share the name of this program later, but I would like to wait until I can recommend it 100%. For those of you have very little patience and a lot of faith, you can purchase  this at TigerDirect.com.

Anyway I've got to leave now to go take a look at the house, and hopefully I can put a bid on it. When I get back, I will try to use this on my other site, where I own the domain name. The time to edit this for punctuation, capitalization and correct word usage was an additional 5 minutes. My guess is I saved about 30 minutes on this one post. Have a great day!
P.S. The program is called Dragon naturallyspeaking10. I think it's worthwhile and will do an update in the future.

Lets see what happens: It works providing people want to download the file. Guess I need to see if I can dictate directly to the blog

Like I've said before, I'm still amazed that so many people find me here. Y'all are either masochists or just don't mind the fact the it strains me to clean up my language. I have a bunch of shit I need to sell somewhere but craigslist is sucking right now, Amazon doesn't have it in their catalog yet and eBay pisses me the fuck off!!
I've been rocking over at Idea Offer but 15 bucks ain't gonna get me in a place of my own. I currently rent a room from a 67 year old lady. She's pretty damn cool but everyone likes having their own space. Since I can't remember where I have shared what, I'll just mention here that I managed to pre-qualify for up to a 55k mortgage.
The big problem is that by the time I find a place in my price range, the bank will see that this years income isn't going to be nearly as good as it once was... just 2 months ago. And if y'all haven't noticed it yet, 50,000 bucks won't get you a cardboard box in most parts of the country. I've given up on a house and the extra costs for just insurance and inspections makes a "mobile home" a poor idea. That just leaves 1/2 a duplex...maybe. Yes, in Florida you can buy a piece of a home. That means praying you don't have to take your neighbors "gator fishing".(Rumors are, the bait doesn't have much fun!)
This might seem like a small dream to a lot of you. Consider the fact that I haven't had a place (without sharing at least the bath and kitchen) of my own in over 15 years. I'll be 49 this month. Can you see why it's really starting to matter to me? The sad part is that I'll have to rent out the second bedroom to actually afford the place. Thank goodness that I'll be in charge of the space. It's been awhile.
I know there are ways to monetize these sites. You can see the google ads I've dropped in here. So far I'm up to a whopping $1.70 in my adsense account. I'll try not to spend it all on booze and hookers!  Actually, you can not even access it until the total tops 100 bucks so that shouldn't kick in before social security does! By that time I'll be lucky if it'll pay for Viagra and porn.
Well that's todays' ramblings. Hope every day gets a little better for you and you find contentment in the little things.
